Tools on your device

The handover, water-change and equipment-cost tools run in your browser. Their inputs are not submitted to FishyMag. Downloaded files are under your control. Existing tank profiles and treatment logs have separate explicit device-save controls; local storage is not cloud backup or shared team storage.

Early-access interest requests

Submitting the interest form sends your email, role, optional organisation, description of the task and consent to FishyMag. The record includes a generated identifier, creation date, unverified status and a hash used to check your withdrawal receipt. Records are held in private Vercel Blob storage in the United States. Access is limited to the site’s server and authorised account administrators. Storage is private, but this is not a promise that any online system is risk-free.

We use the request to understand demand and may contact you about it. The form does not sign you up for a paid product, verify your email, create an account or subscribe you to an automated newsletter. Do not include customer contact details, payment information or other sensitive information in the task description. We do not sell the submitted details.

Withdrawal and retention

Save the private receipt displayed after submission. The withdrawal form checks that receipt and deletes the corresponding active request. Anyone with the receipt can withdraw it. Without the receipt, the form cannot identify your request. Records remain until withdrawn or removed during administrator review; automatic expiry is not yet implemented. Service-provider backups or system records may have separate retention. Deleting a request does not retract copies already exported or communications already sent.

Hosting and abuse prevention

Vercel hosts this site and may process connection information and service logs to deliver it. The interest endpoint uses transient, per-instance request limits based on a keyed hash of connection information; it does not store raw IP addresses in the interest record. This is basic abuse control, not a guarantee against spam. We do not log submitted form text, email addresses or withdrawal receipts in application logs.
