One table instead of three tabs
Choosing between treatments when you keep invertebrates usually means opening several manufacturer pages and holding the differences in your head. This puts 6 inhabitant groups against up to four formulations in a single view, with the number of quoted sources behind every verdict.
If you have saved a tank profile, the groups you actually keep are moved to the top and marked, so you are not scanning past rows that do not apply to you. Selections are kept in the address bar, so a comparison can be bookmarked or sent to someone else.
Common questions
- Why do so many cells say “Unknown”?
- Because most labels only address a few groups. A product aimed at fish disease often says nothing at all about shrimp, snails or plants. Rather than fill that silence with a guess, the table shows it as Unknown — which is information in itself, and frequently the most important thing on the row.
- What does the source count under each verdict mean?
- It is the number of quoted statements supporting that verdict, each linked in full on the treatment page. Two sources usually means the record documents a disagreement rather than a stronger conclusion.
- Does a longer evidence meter mean a safer product?
- No. It means the manufacturer documented more groups. A product could be thoroughly documented and unsuitable for your tank, or barely documented and perfectly fine. The meter measures how much is known, not how safe something is.
